Yolanda Adams Attends Cartier/Google Women’s C-suite Luncheon for Black Female Leadership at Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival

At the 2023 Martha’s Vineyard African American Festival, gospel singer Yolanda Adams attended the Cartier and Google co-sponsored luncheon heralding some of the biggest Black female C-suite executives across the county.

CNN senior political correspondent Abby Phillip moderated the event, which focused on the theme of “belonging.” Women gathered inside Harbor View Hotel for a panel featuring the Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Cartier North America Erica Lovett, Chief Diversity Officer at Google Melonie Parker; Senior Vice President of Local and Cultural Innovation at Estee Lauder Companies Inc. Susan Akkad; and Lindsay Peoples, editor-in-chief of The Cut.

The luncheon’s speakers shared their experiences of climbing the corporate ladder and how they intend to continue to push the needle forward in shifting company cultures for more diversity and inclusion.

TV host Shaun Robinson, Dr. Sharon Malone, obstetrician and wife of Eric H. Holder Jr., the first African American attorney general, Andra Mielnicki, chief marketing officer of Cartier North America and more mingled and networked with guests from the beauty, tech, fashion, journalism and luxury goods sectors.
