In conversation with EBONY correspondent Amanda Booz, Yvonne Orji spilled the tea on a few of her latest and most exciting endeavors coming down the pipeline this year, including The Blackening—horror movie spoof featuring an all-Black cast—which hits theaters on June 16, 2023.
“[The Blackening] is one of those movies that you might have to see in the Black theater where people are talking back. We’ve already had some screenings where, true to form, folks are yelling ‘Why would you do that’… it’s best to experience it that way” shared Orji about the film .
